MindForge ("the app", "we", "us") is a single-player strategy and decision-making game. This policy explains what information the app handles and how. We aim to collect as little as possible.
Account information: if you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and a unique account identifier from the sign-in provider via Firebase Authentication. If you continue as a guest, no personal account information is collected.
Gameplay data: your in-game progress (ranks, world state, analytics such as decisions made) is stored locally on your device and, for signed-in users, backed up to Firebase Firestore. We do not collect your contacts, location, photos, or precise device identifiers.
We use account information solely to authenticate you and to preserve your identity and progress across sessions and devices. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
We use Google Firebase Authentication, Google Sign-In, and Cloud Firestore to provide login and cloud save. Their handling of data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy). We do not integrate advertising or third-party analytics SDKs.
Gameplay data remains until you delete it (via "New game", "Reset all progress", or "Delete account") or uninstall the app. Account records and cloud saves persist until you delete your account.
You can permanently delete your account and all progress at any time — see our account deletion page. The action cannot be undone.
MindForge is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We rely on the platform and Google Firebase to protect data in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to safeguard your information.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a revised effective date.
